How to choose the types of pressure gauge correctly

Different types of pressure gauges should be selected according to measuring different media and using environments.

(1) General media, such as air, water, etc., can be used with air pressure gauges.

(2)For those corrosive media and corrosive gas environment, full stainless steel pressure gauge can be used.

(3) Special pressure gauges are needed for special media, such as ammonia pressure gauges for ammonia; oxygen pressure gauges for oxygen; pressure gauges for hydrogen; acetylene pressure gauges for acetylene, etc.

(4) For the measurement of the pressure of liquid, gas or medium with solid floating substances with high viscosity, easy to crystallize, high corrosiveness and high temperature, use diaphragm type pressure gauge.

(5) Pressure measurement for pulsed media and mechanical vibration. Use shock-proof pressure gauge such as oil pressure gauge.

(6) When there is a remote transmission requirement, a remote transmission pressure gauge can be used. The remote transmission signals include current type, resistance type and voltage type.

(7) Explosion-proof type must be selected when there are explosion-proof requirements, such as explosion-proof electric contact pressure gauge.

(8) When there is a requirement for control and protection, an electric contact pressure gauge can be used.
